From vision to reality: the innovators building a sustainable future in construction
Hyperion Robotics was founded with a bold vision to revolutionise the construction industry through cutting-edge innovation and sustainability. The founding team brings an extraordinary blend of expertise to the mission. Fernando, a former EY finance professional turned visionary entrepreneur, joined forces with Ashish Mohite, an expert in architecture and 3D printing, and Henry Unterreiner, a structural engineer with a background in groundbreaking projects. Together, they set out to transform the outdated, labour-intensive construction sector by integrating automation, robotics, and sustainable materials.
Since 2020, Hyperion has become a climate impact leader, delivering low-carbon, efficient solutions that significantly cut CO2 emissions. By merging advanced technology with environmental responsibility, the company is shaping a smarter, greener future in global construction.

Co-Founder & CEO
Fernando is a serial entrepreneur as founder and CEO of two previous start-ups in Silicon Valley. With over nine years of experience across finance construction and 3D printing, Fernando has led several business optimisation and auditing projects with industrial clients at EY.
Ashish Mohite
Co-Founder & CTO
Ashish is one of Europe's foremost robotics and 3D printing experts, with a PhD in 3D printing and construction. He uniquely blends his architectural site experience with advanced technology and materials science, driving innovation in the field for over 10 years.
Henry Unterreiner
Co-Founder & Head of Engineering
Henry is a chartered structural engineer with over eight years' experience of designing and delivering world-class projects with leading engineering firm Arup. As a serial founder and a top-notch structural designer, he combines his engineering expertise with a passion for innovation and product creation.
Mariia Kochneva
Head of Research & Development
Mariia has over 10 years of experience in 3D printing and construction across software and hardware as a founder and academic research. With two Masters, Mariia has published several leading academic papers on Architecture and 3D printing.
Hanna Smorodinzeff
Head of People & Operations
Hanna is an HR and Operations professional who has supported the scaling of five international growth companies in different stages as COO, Head of People and Advisor.
John Price
VP of Operations - UK & Europe
John has 40 years of experience in construction leading projects such as The Shard, Crossrail and the London Olympics, and is a former Group MD (CEO) at £600m UK-based contractor, Keltbray Group and Director at Costain.
David Beaty
Fractional Chief Commercial Officer
David is a seasoned strategist and business developer in UK utilities, infrastructure, transport, and aerospace at firms such as Keltbray Group and Kier Group.
