Main project

European Innovation Council (EIC)
Accelerator programme

Hyperion Robotics was one of 68 deep-tech startups selected for the European Innovation Council’s EIC Accelerator programme in July 2024 to develop a breakthrough technology that will revolutionise the construction industry.

Our teams plan all the activities that we undertake, establishing the design, identifying risks, production management and behavioural protocols to mitigate risk.

The project will allow us to develop carbon-negative materials designed to produce elements with a net-negative carbon impact.

This technology will be applied to the next generation of Hyperion Robotics’s Microfactory.

Partnership

European Innovation Council (EIC)
Pathfinder programme

Hyperion has joined the SCENE-B project, coordinated by Norwegian SINTEF Manufacturing, to develop a novel 3D-printed concrete material reinforced with aluminum fibers.

The project has secured over €3.5 million in funding from the European Commission’s EIC Pathfinder programme, which supports the early-phase development of breakthrough technologies addressing global challenges.

SCENE-B aims to create a new concrete mix with reduced cement content, compatible with aluminium fibre reinforcement and optimised for 3D printing.

The project also explores the use of unwashed sea sand as a sustainable alternative to increasingly scarce river sand.
