Hyperion has been commissioned by the Fraunhofer Institute to 3D print a series of coral reefs aiming at rebuilding damaged underwater environments and favoring marine life.
This project showcases how Hyperion's 3D printing technology combined with Hyperion's material science can enhance marine grow and help save our oceans.
This project opens up exciting opportunities and Hyperion is currently working with Australian government agencies to help rebuild the great barrier reef.
“By incorporating an industrial by product rich in lime in its 3D printing concrete, Hyperion can create marine friendly structures which become home to a wide variety of underwater species”
